Remicade is typically infused over about 2 hours, beginning with an initial loading schedule at weeks 0, 2, and 6, then continuing with maintenance infusions every 6 to 8 weeks. Our nurses closely monitor patients throughout each visit, and physicians remain involved in guiding your treatment plan.
Before starting Remicade, our physicians review your medical history, including screening for infections such as tuberculosis and hepatitis.
